Today we begin a new series profiling Think Tank members.  We know it's the members of our coworking community that make Think Tank a unique and special place to ideate. Today we start with Suzanne Fox.

Think Tank: Tell us a little about yourself.

Suzanne Fox: I'm the founder and president of Fox Intercultural Consulting. I work with public and private schools across New England including Maine College of Art and Breakwater School. I try to provide a cross-cultural bridge with China, strengthening schools’ international connections and troubleshooting cross-cultural misunderstandings.

I lived in China for a number of years as a student, teacher and program director in Beijing and Shanghai and that's given me an in-depth perspective.  I really get both cultures.

I attended Bowdoin College and in addition to China I've also lived in London, New York City and the San Francisco Bay area.

TT: What brings you to Think Tank?

SF: I wanted to more dynamic work environment.  I was working at home. I like the location and the vibe and the people.

TT: What do you like about living in Portland, Maine?

SF: I live on Peaks Island… I love the energy, the art, the food and the entrepreneurial spirit of this town!

TT: What do you like most about coworking?

SF: I've made some great connections!  I love what's been happening at Think Tank lately.

TT: What’s a fun fact about yourself that you can share?

SF: I like to cook Sichuan food and I can make a mean hot pot.  I love to travel, I’ve been hiking in Greenland and I just got back from Burma/Myanmar.
